Raheja Developers enters into joint venture with Arabtec ConstructionRaheja Developers has announced that it has entered into a joint venture (JV) with Dubai-based Arabtec Construction for its project in the NCR region.

"We must match international standards in construction. So, we have partnered with Arabtec to take construction in India to another level," said Naveen Raheja, chairman, Raheja Developers.

Under the agreement, Arabtec Construction would hold 63 per cent stake in the joint venture that will be named Arabtec Raheja while the remaining 37 per cent will be held by the Indian company.

The joint venture will begin development work on a 56-storied housing project Raheja Revanta in Gurgaon near the Indian capital. The project includes housing 1,200 units. The venture will later be involved in the Raheja Shristi project in Gurgaon.

The joint venture will also be involved in the development of Raheja's tallest project in Delhi, the Raheja Phoenix, which will be a 54-storied tower in Patel Nagar area in Delhi, which will also include skyclub and a helipad. The projects are expected to be completed in three to four years.

UAE construction company, Arabtec Construction is the builders of world's tallest tower Burj Khalifa.
