Privacy settings fidgeting with Facebook

Mark ZuckerbergIt follows the notion that speaks of “Quit Facebook” campaign website, which has a growing userbase of 14,000 and counting supporters, posing a threat to Facebook.

CEO, Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg on the note of rising privacy controversies stated “If people share more, the world will become more open and connected. And a world that's more open and connected is a better world,” elucidates a Washington Post article.

He further goes to say that the current rate of growth in Facebook is posing a challenge to keep everyone satisfied.

In fact a Sophos poll on the privacy debate found that 30% of Facebook users claimed that they were “highly likely” to quit their membership and 30% were readying to gear up for the task.

Zuckerberg, further through his article clearly stated that Facebook was launched to give users lots of granular controls, but it seems to have 'missed the mark' i. e., not offering what everyone wanted.

However it is believed that the things will soon fall into place as the new measure seeks to imply new privacy controls , also in addition to this comes a never-before done task, cancellation of all third-party services.
