Prince William ''is not doing enough’ in terms of royal commitments

Prince WilliamLondon, February 23 : Prince William has been accused of not involving himself in enough of engagements as compared to other royals.

In a Channel 4''s Dispatches programme, the 26-year-old was said to have carried out only 14 engagements as compared to his father, the Prince of Wales, who touched
84 at the same age.

"William - he''s doing almost nothing. I''m sorry, but as second in line of succession to the throne, he really should be doing more," Sky News quoted journalist James Whitaker as saying in the documentary.

However, a spokeswomen for the two royals has expressed doubts over the documentary, dubbing it as "unbalanced" and "one-sided".

"The comparison with Prince Charles at the same age was unfair," St James'' Palace said.

"Prince William has been a full-time officer since 2005. During this time he has continued to carry out a number of public engagements. He has also increased his charitable commitments.

"We think the Dispatches documentary is an unbalanced and one-sided examination," St. James' Palace added. (ANI)
