Prince Harry’s ex ‘accused of using royal connections for landing top job’

Prince Harry’s ex ‘accused of using royal connections for landing top job’London, February 16: Prince Harry's former girlfriend Chelsy Davy has been accused of using her royal connections to land a job at a top law firm.

The 23-year-old, who parted ways with the soldier prince in January this year, had pocketed a 37,000-pound-a-year training contract with London's Allen & Overy.

Her fuming competitors have alleged that she won the deal for her "public relations bling" value that could reap marketing benefits for the prestigious company.

"This is a prime example of royal connections aiding and inflating the career of somebody who is probably no better than some of the rejected candidates who attended a better university," the Daily Star quoted an enraged law student as telling TheLawyer. com.

"A & O have secured phenomenal brand exposure for the measly cost of a trainee's wage for two years," the student added.

However, a spokesman at the firm said: "Everyone goes through the same rigorous selection process."

Chelsy is set to begin her term later this year, after completing her postgraduate law course at Leeds University. (ANI)
