Prince Harry follows in Di’s footsteps, helps vulnerable kids

London, July 13 : Prince Harry follows in Di’s footsteps, helps vulnerable kidsHis late mother Diana, Princess of Wales was well-known for her love for kids and now Britain’s Prince Harry displayed the same skills when he spent time with abused children in the African kingdom of Lesotho.

The 23-year-old prince, an officer in the Household Cavalry Regiment, visited the new headquarters of a home for child victims of sexual and physical attacks.

The third in line to the throne got down on his hands and knees to chat to the delighted youngsters.

“I hope she would be proud of me,” the Telegraph quoted the prince, as saying.

The children''''s charity, Sentebale, established in Lesotho two years ago, contributed a third of the 100,000 pounds cost of the new home which will become a national centre for assessment and treatment of abused children.

"It''''s a fantastic building, especially compared to what they were last in," he said.

The prince quickly became a playmate for four-year-old Mojabeng, who came to the centre after being abandoned by her parents.

Harry pushed her around the courtyard on a tricycle over and over again before pleading ‘No more – I’m exhausted!’

Then the prince joined a four-year-old boy called Molise, playing with a mini ghetto blaster. (ANI)
