New Delhi, June 24 : President Pranab Mukherjee has accepted the resignation of Shekhar Dutt as Governor of Chhattisgarh.

A Rashtrapati Bhawan press communique said that the president has appointed Ram Naresh Yadav, Governor of Madhya Pradesh , to discharge the functions as the Governor of Chhattisgarh, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Chhattisgarh are made.
