PPP Govt Has Lost Its Integrity, Says Nawaz Sharif
Former Pakistan Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has come down hard on the PPP led administration calling it as a failure, and said it has lost its integrity.
While commenting on the recent argument over the judges' appointment matter, Nawaz said that the administration is accountable for the clash between institutions.
"This act had not only threatened democracy but also caused disgrace to the politicians," he said.
Talking to leaders of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), he criticised the Gilani administration for the widespread massive corruptness and said it has lost its trustworthiness among the country's people.
"Losing credibility in the eyes of people due to eruption of various scandals and failing to restore national economy, the country has been facing irreparable brunt," he said.
He added that the PML-N's main concern is to bring those to righteousness who have broken the Constitution of the country.
Sharif also said that his party would carry on its fight to thwart democracy from falling apart.
"We shall spare no effort to protect the nobility of judiciary and sanctity of institutions. Our basic onus is to protect the interests of people and the country by waging a war for the elimination of all social evils," he said. (With Input from Agencies)
