Please Wait, Nokia ‘N-Gage’ Gaming Service Will Take Some Time!

Nokia’s N-gage mobile gaming service, primitively due in November has Nokia _N-Gage_Gaming_Servicebeen pushed back slightly because of postponements with software screening. Now it will hit the market in “December 2007”.

Nokia’s new digital service will let users to try all N-Gage games free of charge from any Nokia-compatible device prior to paying and downloading the complete titles.

At a big media event in August, Nokia revealed its much awaited gaming service and said that it would be available throughout the world in November.

Nokia's Kari Tutti told, “The N-Gage delay is only a matter of weeks, not months. Some software testing is getting in the way.”

The company said that the service will be supported by EA Sports with labels including FIFA 08, The Sims 2 Pets, Crash Bandicoot, Tetris, and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR, and other game publishing companies such as Capcom, Vivendi, and Crash Bandicoot.

The Nokia’s ‘N-Gage’ gaming platform and Nokia Music Store were to be the initial two products launched under the trade name ‘Ovi.’

The compatible Models with the service comprise Nokia N73, N81, N81 8GB, N93, N93i, N95, and N95 8GB.

This service will be available at www.n-gage.com, or through an application that will be pre-installed on many of Nokia's consumer-oriented models.
