Speaking on the topic, CEO Krogh said, “Not only is it our first entrance into North America for our mobile first live dealer technology, we have significant interest for our product in this market that we will announce in due course.”

He explained that Ontario is among the top five iGaming markets in North America and live dealer table games account for nearly 32 per cent of the total revenue generated within the vertical of online casinos.

Stats released by the Ontario gaming regulator also show that the province is one of the fastest-growing iGaming jurisdictions in the entire North America. According to available stats, legalized gaming operations in Ontario amounted to a total market handle of around CAD $35.6 billion (approx. US$26.3 billion). Gross gaming revenue (GGR) was recorded at $1.4 billion in the FY 2022, which was the first year of legalized gaming operations in the Canadian province. In other words, the stats are enough to show that the online gaming market has made an impressive debut after being officially launched in Ontario in April 2022.
