Philippine shares drop 3.21 per cent
Manila - Philippine share prices dropped 3.21 per cent Thursday, tracking losses on Wall Street and regional stock markets.
The Philippine Stock Exchange's 30-share composite index slipped 64.59 points to close at 1,941.62.
A total of 2.14 billion shares valued at 2.39 billion pesos (48.77 million dollars) were traded.
Losers outpaced gainers 84 to 9 while 32 issues were unchanged.
Analysts said local stocks would continue to take the lead of Wall Street and regional markets. (dpa)
