Washington, Jan 30 : Pete Wentz has slammed the critic-brigade condemning sister-in-law Jessica Simpson's `curvy' appearance in Florida.

Simpson recently shocked fans at a performance on January 25 in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

However, when asked about Simpson''s new curves, the `Fall Out Boy', said that people are getting too harsh on Jessica.

"I think that the media puts too harsh of a spotlight on women in general, and I think it''s a bummer," Us Magazine quoted him as telling Extra from the NFL Pepsi Smash Super Bowl Bash in Tampa, Florida.

He added: "It''s bad for young women. I see it affecting young girls who come to our shows, and that''s a bummer.

"Real beauty is on the inside, man."

Not only Wentz, Jessica's kid-sister Ashlee, also blogged her outrage on her Celebrity MySpace page. (ANI)
