Zoe-Saldana Los Angees, May 18 : Actress Zoe Saldana says the number of her male friends exceeds that of her female pals.

No wonder the 34-year-old loved being a part of the almost completely male cast of "Star Trek Into Darkness".

"It's a very accurate reflection of how I am in my own life. I have more male than female friends," contactmusic. com quoted Saldana as saying.

Saldana also said she and her co-stars Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine kept in touch between the 2009 released "Star Trek" and its sequel, through chain emails.

Zoe-Saldana Los Angeles, May 15 : After signing Marvel Studio's superhero film "Guardians Of The Galaxy", actress Zoe Saldana has become part of three big sci-fi franchises, including "Avatar" and "Star Trek", but insists it was not planned.

"I haven't thought about it that way, up until this 'Star Trek' promo tour actually, when it was brought to my attention. Zoe-Saldana Los Angeles, May 6 : Actress Zoe Saldana suffered from attention deficit disorder (ADD) when she was a teenager, but ballet lessons helped her conquer the symptoms.

Saldana lost her father in a car crash when she was just nine, following which her mother took her for ballet lessons that helped her overcome the symptoms.

"Had my mum not had the intuitive wisdom to put me in ballet I think she would have eventually opted to concede to the medication the doctors were suggesting," contactmusic. com quoted Saldana as saying.

Saldana's fashion faux pas London, May 4 - Actress Zoe Saldana walked the white carpet at the premiere of "Star Trek Into Darkness" in a black and white silk gown, but windy weather played spoilsport.

The trouble started for Saldana when the weather turned windy and she was unable to keep the folds of her dress in place, reports dailymail. co. uk.

Her co-stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Zachary Quinto and Alice Eve came for her rescue, and helped her to keep the folds of her gown together.

After some help from her co-stars, finally the actress managed to pose for shutterbugs.

They decided to break up before the Christmas holidays, even though they had been planning to spend the festive season together.

The couple is believed to have ended their romance shortly before Christmas, which they originally had intended to celebrate together, Contactmusic reported.

The relationship reportedly suffered because the 37-year-old actor was busy with the promotion of his Oscar-tipped movie ‘Silver Linings Playbook.’
