Washington, April 16 : High School Musical actor Zac Efron has offered his apologies to an airport security guard after he fell on top of him while running away from the paparazzi.

The 21-year-old heartthrob revealed he had been running run up and down an escalator to escape tailing photographers when he tripped, fell and landed on security guard who was trying to help him.

New Delhi, Apr 15 : High School Musical star Zac Efron has revealed that he always keeps memorabilia of his films in the boot of his car, to help get him out of sticky situations.

Efron, 21, says that in order for him to get his way, he sometimes has to resort to using such tactics, reports the China Daily.

"I've kind of got it figured out. I just pull in to the lot at the movie studio and photographers can''t follow me," he said.

Washington, Apr 14: Hollywood actor Zac Efron, who acquired a huge fans base with the help of his stint in the High School Musical series, is keen to ditch his teen heart-throb status.

In a bid to move away from his teen icon image, he opted out of remake of Kevin Bacon''s Footloose for dark drama `The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud' - about a caretaker at a cemetery who has weekly meetings with the ghost of his deceased younger brother.

Though he opted out of the flick, Efron is aware that his decision may cost him his fanbase.

Washington, April 10 : High School Musical star Zac Efron has revealed that he wants to play Luke Skywalker in George Lucas'' new Star Wars TV series.

The actor loved the chance to play with props from the original ''Star Wars'' franchise in his current movie ''17 Again'' and says he would jump at the chance to play one of the sci-fi programme''s most famous characters.

New Delhi, Apr 10 : Zac Efron has revealed that he and his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens love watching movies but avoid evening screenings so they can have some privacy.

He said: "That''''s probably like, the best thing to do - we just don''''t go on a Friday night or Saturday night. It''''ll be like 9am on a Tuesday."

The 21-year-old star added that he can''''t understand why people complement his hair so much as he never does anything to style it, reports The China Daily.

Melbourne, Apr 9 : High School Musical star Zac Efron has revealed about his new movie `17 Again' and the role he plays in it.

For Efron, 21, the movie was at first a little intimidating, especially when he had to be a 37-year-old man in a 17-year-old boy's body.

"Truthfully, in 17 Again, although it takes place in a high school setting, the character is very removed from a high school," the Daily Telegraph quoted him as saying.
