London - Manchester City will have to raise their offer if they want to sign Roque Santa Cruz, Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allarydce said on Friday.

City had an offer of more than 12 million pounds (18.3 million dollars) for the Paraguay striker rejected by Rovers and Allardyce said City would have to come back with more money.

"It is down to Man City to make the offer and blow us out of the water," Allardyce said.
