Kuala Lumpur - Malaysia's hardline opposition Islamic party has called for a ban on Grammy award winner and R&B star Rihanna's concert, due to be held in the capital city next month, a party official and news reports said Wednesday.

Rihanna, whose hits include Umbrella and Disturbia, is scheduled to perform in Kuala Lumpur on February 13 as part of her Good Girl Gone Bad world tour.

London, Jan 06 : Pop star Rihanna reportedly celebrated Christmas at her rumoured boyfriend Chris Brown''s family home.

According to reports, the `Umbrella' hitmaker even took some of her own family to Virginia to be with her.

Some of the personal photographs from the holiday have even emerged on the Internet, reports the Daily Express.

The pictures show the Rihanna relaxing in a striped knitted dress and hugging Brown, other show them posing cheerfully for family photographs.

Kuala Lumpur, January 6: R and B star Rihanna will stage a concert in a suburb of Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur on February 13.

The concert, dubbed Rihanna Live In KL 2009, will take place at at Stadium Putra, Bukit Jalil.

It is part of the 20-year-old's `Good Girl Gone Bad' tour, though which she is promoting her chart-topping third album of the same name, reports the Star Online.

Tickets for the concert, being organised by Pineapple Concerts, are already on sale.

London, Jan 05 : Pop star Rihanna has sparked rumours that she is all set to marry beau Chris Brown, after she was spotted sporting a huge diamond rock on the wedding finger.

Rihanna was seen sporting the incredible engagement ring while performing with Brown at the O2 in London.

Although the weather was chilly, she wore fingerless gloves and held her hand to her chest so people could check out the ring.

If reports are to believed Brown popped the question to Rihanna over the New Year.

Washington, Dec 22 : Popstar Rihanna is all set to perform at the Recording Industry Association of America's charity inaugural ball on January 20 to benefit Feeding America, a nonprofit organization.

"We are thrilled to have Rihanna's participation in the inauguration charity ball," US Weekly quoted Feeding America''s Vicky Escarra as telling Access.

Vicky Escarra said that he was grateful to the `Umbrella' hitmaker for participating in the charity ball.

Washington, Dec 3 : Popstar Rihanna and Chris Brown have been sued by a photographer who has claimed that he was beaten and robbed for snapping a photo of the young couple in May.

The photographer, Luis Santana, has filed a 1 million dollar lawsuit against the pair in Florida, claiming that their bodyguards knocked him down to the ground and stole his camera, when he tried to click them outside a nightclub.
