More than 14 likely suicide bombers in Pak custody: Rehman Malik

Rehman MalikIslamabad, Oct 4: Rehman Malik, advisor to Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on internal matters, has said that more than 14 likely suicide bombers along with their handlers are in government’s custody.

Talking to the media, he said that action was being taken against anti-state elements on the basis of information extracted from arrested bombers and their facilitators.

Malik urged the nation to join hands and help eliminate the menace of terrorism from the country.

Islamabad, Sep 9 :FATA world’s most dangerous place: Pak Interior Ministry Extremists have converted Pakistan’s Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) into the world’s most dangerous area, said Rehman Malik, adviser of Interior Ministry.

He urged the militants to lay down their arms if they were sincere to Islam and Pakistan.

The Daily Times quoted Malik as saying that the government would welcome the militants if they surrender their arms, but obviously ‘cannot award them medals for their acts’.
