London, January 29 : French Human Rights Minister Rama Yade is the second glamorous icon of ethnic diversity who faces eviction from the Nicolas Sarkozy Government, after refusing to "leave quietly" and join the European Parliament.

Government sources have revealed that the 34-year-old's fate was likely to be e sealed in a face-to-face showdown with Sarkozy at the Elysee Palace on Wednesday after a council of ministers meeting

"The president freezes out his human rights secretary and denigrates her in public - even if he doesn''''t mention her name," the Telegraph quoted the sources as telling the newspaper Le Monde.
