London, Dec 21: U. S. President-elect Barack Obama, Britain's Prince Harry, French first lady Carla Bruni have made it to a new list of `The Heroes of 2008'.

The list was compiled by the Telegraph.

Olympic golden boy Michael Phelps joined the list too.

Tina Fey, famous for her impersonation of Alaska governor Sarah Palin on `Saturday Night Live', was also included in the list.

BBC former chief political correspondent John Sergeant, and Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, also featured in the list.

The Heroes of 2008 are:

Prince Harry ‘planning romantic beachside New Year break with girlfriend’

Prince HarryLondon, Dec 20 : Prince Harry will be spending a romantic beachside New Year break with lover Chelsy Davy in a 1,000 pound-a-night beach hut, it has emerged.

The royal will reportedly spend 9 days with Davy soaking up the sun at the paradise holiday island in Mauritius.

Harry, who spent last New Year Eve in Afghanistan, will head to Mauritius for an idyllic holiday with Davy, after celebrating Christmas with family.

"Harry will join the rest of the Royals at Sandringham for Christmas but head for Mauritius after that," The Sun quoted a source, as saying.

The daughter of a Zimbabwean millionaire, known for her long vacations and party-lifestyle, was spotted donning a business suit at solicitors Farrer and Co. that has provided services for Harry's grandmother, the Queen herself.

The law student was said to have arrived at the legal firm to gain some first-hand knowledge to help prepare herself for her final two terms at Leeds University.
