The US has said that it would not meddle into Pakistan’s internal affairs, like Pervez Musharraf’s impeachment or restoration of the deposed judges.
Principal Officer at the US’ Lahore Consulate, Bryan Hunt said that any decision made on President Pervez Musharraf’s impeachment or on restoring the deposed judges was an “internal issue” of Pakistan and that the US will not interfere into those.
