Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee appeared to change her stance on the small car project issue of TATA. Her party and state government conducted first round of talks on Friday.
The chief minister of the state and Ms Banerjee requested the state governor to chair the meeting for the end of dead lock. The governor, GK Gandhi will chair the crucial meeting between a state government panel and a five-member Trinamool delegation. He ruled out to be a mediator in the case.

Kamarkundu (Kolkata), May 26 : Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee has demanded that the State Government return land to the farmers who have refused to accept compensation.
"Even it is just two years of our movement still we are ready to fight for the rights for years to come. The farmers who have not accepted the compensation should be given back 400 acres of land. The Left has to listen to the demand," she said in a public meeting here on Sunday.
