Washington, Feb 12 : Hollywood actor Josh Brolin has been roped in to play the lead in the comic book adaptation of `Jonah Hex'.

Brolin ripped his pants while shooting scene with Crowe!Washington, Jan 28 : Hollywood actor Josh Brolin was left embarrassed when his pants ripped open while shooting his first scene with co-star Russell Crowe on the set of `American Gangster'.

Brolin admits he was nervy about acting opposite Oscar winner Crowe in the 2007 film, and the untimely wardrobe malfunction made things worse.

"I was a little plumper than I wanted to be. I justified it that the character''s tough and he needs to be plumper. I came to the set they put the wardrobe on me and it was tight," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

London, Jan 17 : American actress Whoopi Goldberg was left red-faced at the recent movie awards ceremony she was hosting, when she introduced actor Josh Brolin as his father, James.

Goldberg, who presented January 14 night's 100th annual National Board of Review of Motion Pictures ceremony in New York, introduced the W star as his Emmy Award-winning actor/director dad.

Brolin dismissed the error and made a joke out of it when he stepped on stage to collect his Best Supporting Actor gong for Milk.

"That's how f***ing famous I am! I just whispered in her ear, `What's the matter with you?' She said, `I don't know - I'm high!'" the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
