Washington, Feb 14 : Actor Jackie Chan is set to donate his collection of historical Chinese houses, said to be worth 67 million dollars, to a new university in Singapore.
Chan, 54, owns seven wooden homes, which date back to the country''s Ming and Qing dynasties, and also has a decorative performing stage.
The whole collection is currently housed at a Hong Kong warehouse.
London, Jan 29 : Actor Jackie Chan has found a unique way to protect the environment - he has urged his fans to conserve water by flushing the toilet just once at the end of the day.
Speaking at a Go Green initiative for Segway the action star encouraged his fans to help protect the environment and conserve water.
"Do you know how much water we waste when each of us visits the washroom twice a day?" the Daily Express quoted him as saying.
Washington, Jan 1 : Jackie Chan has been named as the Vice Chairman of the China Film Association.
The association will tie together moviemaking in Hong Kong and China.
The 54-year-old action star along with other prominent Hong Kong filmmakers has joined the key mainland Chinese film association, a sign of the growing integration of the two movie industries.
Chan was voted the organization's vice-chairman over the weekend (27-28December).
Actor Andy Lau and directors Peter Chan, Gordon Chan, Derek Yee and Tsui Siu-ming were also among the group''s first batch of 10 members from Hong Kong, reports Contactmusic.
