Washington, Jan 28 : Singer/actress Hilary Duff has been roped in to take over the role of veteran actress Faye Dunaway in a new version of Bonnie And Clyde.
The 21-year-old star will play the role of role of Bonnie in a new adaptation of the legendary story alongside `Air Bud' actor Kevin Zegers, reports Contactmusic.
The new movie, titled `The Story of Bonnie and Clyde', will be helmed by Tonya S. Holly.
Holly insists that the new film will be entirely new, rather than a remake of the 1967 classic, which also starred Warren Beatty.
Meanwhile, the `Lizzie Maguire' star is set to return to television.
