Washington, Sept. 26 : Concluding a much anticipated meeting with US President George W Bush at the Oval Office here on Thursday evening, Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh lauded Bush''s "strong personal commitment" in transforming India-US relations.
Washington - US President George W Bush assured Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh that his administration was working to get prompt congressional approval on a deal that would allow the United States to share civilian nuclear technology to India.
"It's taken a lot of work on both our parts, a lot of courage on your part," Bush said. "And so we're working hard to get it passed as quickly as possible."

Addressing the media after the meeting, Bush told reporters that he is working hard to push the deal through.
"This agreement has taken a lot of work from both sides. We are working harder to make it possible," Bush said.
