Washington, Jan 31: Actress Freida Pinto gave a taste of Indian film industry to American TV viewers in an impromptu Bollywood-inspired performance across the stage of a talk show.

The Slumdog Millionaire star gave a Bollywood treat to Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson when she danced across the stage of the talk show.

The 24-year-old actress admitted that she''d already made director Danny Boyle a fan of the elaborate Indian productions after working with him on the new movie.

turned down a Bollywood role after a lusty director demanded she strip off for a sex scene.

The 25-year-old from Mumbai was asked to bare all - even though the director had no intention of including the shots in his finished movie.

Pinto has been one of India's hottest models. She posed for sexy shoots when she was on the books of top agency Elite Model Management.

However, all the time she was dreaming of acting glory.

"I remember harbouring dreams of being an actor since I was five years old," the Daily Star quoted her, as saying.

Washington, Jan 15 : Indian actress Freida Pinto was left red-faced after she met her idol actress Angelina Jolie, as her mouth was full of pastry at the time.

The `Slumdog Millionaire' star was surprised to see Jolie at a luncheon in Los Angeles, but as she did not have the nerve to talk to her, she made her way to the buffet instead.

She was so engrossed in food that she never noticed the `Tomb Raider' star making her way towards her.

Washington, Dec 8 : Freida Pinto, the Indian actress who starred in ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, has revealed that sex scenes in Bollywood are usually shot just for the sake of randy directors, but are eventually edited from films.

In an interview to Complex magazine, Freida admitted that she almost fell victim to one lusty filmmaker, who attempted to convince her that a sex scene was a pivotal part of his movie.

However, she didn’t succumb as she was aware of how such things work in Indian cinema.
