London, Dec 1 : Britney Spears’ strict regime is reportedly taking its toll on her emotional health.

The singer is said to be in a “deceptively fragile” state due to the pressure from her record label and her father Jamie, who filed for legal conservatorship so he could oversee her finances and personal affairs.

“She has been celibate for months now and jokes to friends she may as well be a nun. The constraints on her life are totally suffocating and humiliating. She has been crying in private and putting on a brave face in public,” the Daily Express quoted a source, as saying.

In addition, Britney has little control over what she eats as she gears up for her upcoming world tour.
