New Delhi, January 15 : Pop diva Britney Spears has lifted some weight off her pocket by shelling 8.9 million dollars on her new home.

The pop princess spent the staggering amount on her Calabasas property, just outside LA, and is said to be in the middle of putting up her previous six-bedroom, six-bathroom home for 7.195 million dollars.

The `Womanizer' hitmaker has already taken her sons Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, to see their new mansion.

She was moving the kids' toys and other items into the place, reports the China Daily.

The `Hit Me Baby One More Time' hitmaker is already preparing to move to her new mansion in the Calabasas area of California to leave in tranquility and to be near her children with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Britney is proud of her decision to shift, as her kids have given green signal to her new mansion.

Washington, Jan 14 : Britney Spears and ex-flame Justin Timberlake apparently had an awkward run in at a restaurant on Monday night.

The two stars happened to be at Yatai Asian Tapas Bar in West Hollywood at the same time on January 12, revealed an eyewitness.

Spears arrived at the restaurant with her mom Lynne around 10 p. m., only to find Timberlake having a late-night dinner with current girlfriend Jessica Biel, reports Us Magazine.

Johnny Wright, Britney Spears' former music manager, is of opinion that the popstar is not prepared for a comeback and is being forced into it.

"A comeback is not what I wish for Britney. What I wish for her is to settle down and find real happiness," Wright told OK! Magazine.

"All her essential relationships have been torn apart. She's been divorced twice, she doesn't have custody of her kids, she's being pushed back into being a money machine," Wright said.

The 27-year-old singer was spotted wearing a tourmaline rock, which boosts inner strength and provides a sense of stability.

Celebrity designer Dara Dubinet gifted the ring to the `Womaniser' star to help her get back on track following her public breakdown last year, reports the China Daily.

Washington, Jan 9 : A leading jeweller has designed a black Chinese agate rock ring for Britney Spears which she will wear to the Grammy Awards in February.

Worth 27,000 dollars, Dara Dubinet started work on the huge gem after she spotted Spears wearing a Tourmaline ring she had created and sent to the pop star when she appeared on U. S. morning show Good Morning America on her 27th birthday in December last year.

The designer tells Life&Style magazine she was told Spears "loved" her birthday gift, reports Contactmusic.
