Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin on Sunday charged Obama with "palling around with terrorists".

Palin said it is legitimate to raise Obama''s association with William Ayers, a co-founder of the Weather Underground, a Vietnam-era domestic terror group.

Washington, Oct. 6 : Presidential candidates Barack Obama and John McCain have presented conflicting visions of how they plan to shrink American military presence in Iraq.

According to a New York Times report, Obama, reacting to General Petraeus’s demand for “maximum flexibility” in setting withdrawal schedules, said he “pushed back” when he met with the commander in July by making the case for sending more forces to Afghanistan, which the Democratic candidate views as the main battleground against terrorists.

She accused Obama for having links with Bill Ayres, the former terrorist-turned-education professor whose “Weather Underground” group had bombed the Pentagon in the 1960s, and with whom Obama worked on community projects in the mid-1990s.

Obama also inspired a line of dresses, reports Fox News.

A model even wore a short frock featuring a portrait of the Democratic presidential candidate.

Washington, Oct. 4 : The economy continues to remain the number one issue on the presidential campaign trail, with both John McCain and Barack Obama saying that the race will be won or lost based on who carries the most clout on that issue.
