Nairobi, December 6 : Barack Obama’s grandmother, Sarah Obama, has become a celebrity in Kenya ever since he has been elected 44th U. S. President, prompting the governments of both countries to take full charge of her security.
The number of guests visiting Sarah’s home in Alego Kogelo, Siaya, is said to have increased tenfold since the U. S. election on November 4.
According to reports, the American and Kenyan governments have restricted her movements for security reasons.

Liz Murphy, 45, said she learned after purchasing her Jeep Grand Cherokee that Obama had been its first owner while he was serving as an Illinois state senator, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Friday.
Murphy said eBay bidding on other Obama memorabilia -- including a Topps baseball card signed by Obama that had a high bid of $2,025 Friday -- has given her hope for a profitable auction.

Sarah Obama is receiving up to 500 guests per day, ten times more than before her grandson won the US presidential elections, the Daily Standard reported.
"The visitors are many and I do not even have time to go to my kitchen to cook as I used to do," she bemoaned.
