London, Jan 10 : Duncan Fletcher has warned new captain Andrew Strauss that he could face huge divisions in the England dressing room.
Fletcher, who stood down in 2007 after seven years as coach, fears a clash of egos might present problems.
Kevin Pietersen is aware senior players such as Andrew Flintoff did not support him in his battle with the ECB over coach Peter Moores removal, The Sun reported.
Fletcher said: "Andrew Strauss will need the support of all the other players. He will need to be rated by the others as a cricketer, too, which is crucial for any leader."
