London, Apr 1 : British singer Alesha Dixon is all set to make a world record of the largest number of backing dancers in a performance.

The 2007 Strictly Come Dancing winner will be singing her new track `Let's Get Excited' on Sky1's Guinness World Records Smashed event, reports The Sun.

Other celebrities facing challenges include 2008 I'm A Celebrity winner Joe Swash and 2007 Dancing On Ice champion Kyran Bracken.

London, Feb 20 : American rock band Kings of Leon ended up in a fight at the backstage party in London's Earls Court on February 18.

The fight had started after Jared Followill's girlfriend, who saw him chatting up a girl in Alesha Dixon's band, started throwing water all over the place, soaking the other girl from head to toe.

"Jared's girlfriend was not happy. She went ballistic and the next minute more than 20 people had all piled into the bust-up," the Mirror quoted an onlooker as saying.

London, Jan 25 : British singer Alesha Dixon is convinced that US President Barack Obama will change the world.

The 30-year-old singer insists that Obama's election to the country's top post gives a message of hope to everyone.

"Barack Obama is going to change the world," the Mirror quoted her as saying.

"I sat on my bed, cried and clapped my hands when he won the election.

London, Dec 18 : The `Strictly Come Dancing' winner Alesha Dixon has been voted the woman with `Best Legs' in Britain.

Alesha won with 32 per cent of votes, while Girls Aloud band member Cheryl Cole came second with 21 per cent votes in a poll of 1,000 women, reports the Mirror.

The poll, conducted by body brand Skinbliss, placed Lisa Snowdon at number 3 and Nadine Coyle at number four.

Tess Daly rounded off the top 5.
