Washington, Feb 4 : Paris Hilton has come up with a unique way to fight recession - shopping!

Hilton announced that her income has barely been affected by the ongoing credit crunch, as people are still paying her big bucks to make appearances at major nightclubs.

However, Hilton plans to give a boost to the retail industry by keeping up with her shopaholic attitude.

"It''s really scary about the economy right now. So the way I''m playing my part in helping is doing a lot of shopping wherever I go," Contactmusic quoted Hilton, as telling Heat magazine.
