 Pakistan team leaves for Sri Lanka tour Pakistan cricket team led by skipper Younis Khan has left for Sri Lanka on a 45-day tour which will start from 12th August.

The Pakistan cricket team players departed from Karachi and Lahore in two different batches as they will reach Colombo via Dubai.

The players which departed from Karachi include skipper Younis Khan, Umar Gul, Fawad Alam, Faisal Iqbal and Khurram Manzoor while the other team players departed from Lahore on Saturday.

Pakistan team coach Intikhab Alam said that their players are committed and motivated to perform well in hot and humid weather conditions which poses a great challenge for the visiting team to Sri Lanka.

Pakistan team will play three Test matches, five one-day internationals and one Twenty20 International on the Sri Lanka tour while they will start their campaign with a three
-day practice game which will be played on 29th June.
