Quetta, Jan 25: Caretaker Information Minister Nisar A Memon said on Thursday in a press conference that Pakistan won’t allow anyone, not even their allies to interfere in their country’s internal matters.

He gave a clear message to India that Pakistan want peaceful relations and also want to solve all issues through dialogue. But India’s interference in its internal issues would affect ongoing peace process, which is going in a progressive direction.

“We want better relations with India, but would not tolerate interference in our internal relations,” The News quoted Memon, as saying.

Referring to a recent statement made by Indian Government about Gwadar Port, Memon said it proves India’s involvement in promoting terrorism in Baluchistan.

Memon further accused India of hampering peace in Baluchistan by setting up its 13 information centres in Afghanistan and hinder the construction of the Gwadar Port.

Memon said India does not want the completion of Gwadar Port as it knows that the port would be beneficial for trade and economy in the region. He said he would soon visit the port city of Gwadar.

Memon said President Pervez Musharraf’s recent visit to France, Belgium, Davos and the United Kingdom was a successful tour and Musharraf has received support against terrorism. (ANI)
