Pak summons US ambassador over killings in Wana raid
Islamabad, Sept 4: Following the raid on Wednesday night by suspected US commandoes killing at least 20 civilians, the Pakistan Foreign Office summoned US Ambassador Anne W Patterson and protested against the raid.
The raid was carried out by suspected US troops in a village near Angoor Adda in Wana district of the North West Frontier Province (NWFP).
Reacting to the raid, Foreign Office spokesman Muhammad Sadiq said that such attacks "may fuel the fire of hatred and violence that we are trying to extinguish”, reported the Daily Times. (ANI)
