Pak presidential poll a tragic chapter in history: APDM
Islamabad, Oct 7 : The All Parties Democratic Movement (APDM) has termed the October 6 presidential poll as a tragic chapter in Pakistan’s history.
Vice President of PML-N, Zafar Ali Shah, termed the presidential election a mockery with democracy.
This poll has earned bad name for Pakistan across the world", he said.

"How can one justify the election in which the Electoral College was not complete besides the candidacy of the Pervez Musharraf", Zafar added.
On the emerging political scenario of Pakistan, he observed that only the Supreme Court could bring the country out of crisis by nullifying the presidential poll in the final verdict.
Liaquat Baloch, central leader MMA said that October 6 was a tragic day in the history of Pakistan.
"Election is not over yet it is the polling that has ended. We hope that the Apex Court in its final decision will oust the military ruler," he further said.
Baloch noted that the announcement of counting in the National Assembly was equivalent to contempt of court.
