Outcome of Pak-US strategic dialogue to come out next monthTo announce the conclusion of the Pak-US Strategic Dialogue, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will meet on July 21.

It has been reported that during the meet, both leaders are likely to announce the final outcome of discussions held between the working groups formed under the Pak-US Dialogue process.

Pakistan and the U. S. had earlier agreed to form different working groups to discuss cooperation in various sectors.

The Daily Times has reported that Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesman Abdul Basit said that Islamabad was stressing the need for more cooperation in the fields of energy, science and technology, education, health and defense during the meetings.

Both countries have already agreed to develop more educational institutes in Pakistan, while the Ministry of Education will soon table its final recommendations, Basit said further.

A US Embassy spokesman, meanwhile, confirmed that Clinton would visit Pakistan along with an official delegation next month.

It was further notified that her delegation would include U. S. Assistant Secretary of State Dr. Kerri-Ann Jones, Federal Secretary for Science and Technology K. B. Rind and Higher Education Commission Executive Director Dr. Sohail Naqvi. (With Inputs from Agencies)
