The online hiring of the country has seen a 5% decline in the month of August. The hiring activity of the corporate India has gone down for the month. A decline was recorded for the second consecutive month. A survey has suggested that there has been a very less hiring in the investment-led sectors during this period of time.

The investment-led sectors include manufacturing, engineering & construction. These Industries have held their hiring process due to instability in the economic process.

It has also been seen that there is a decline in the Monster’s Employment Index. Monster’s Employment Index is considered to be a monthly gauge of the online job demand of the country at present time. It has been recorded at 123 point in the month of August which was reported to be 129 in July. There has been a decline of six points in the index for the month under review.

Monster India has informed this fact after publishing the result of a survey. However, the firm has expected that the situation will change in coming months.
