Octasic, a Canada-based provider of media processing and wireless solutions, has entered into contractual partnership agreement with Waves Telecom.

Through this partnership, Waves Telecom will provide distribution and value-added services for Octasic's products throughout India.

The agreement with Waves Telecom follows the recent announcement of a distribution partnership with Hakuto, a distributor of electronic components and semiconductor devices in Japan.

Octasic Inc. provides media and wireless modem processing silicon and software solutions for converged carrier, enterprise, and end-point communication equipment markets.
