Korean automobile giant Hyundai Motor India Ltd has announced that it is working on a compact sedan based on the Grand i10 as well as a compact sports utility vehicle (SUV).

The Indian arm of Hyundai announced that the compact sedan based on the small car would be launched by March-April next year.

USD/CAD is in bearish mode since Friday which means that move from 1.0243 was actually made only in three waves, so this rally is now part of a larger complex correction, either a flat or a triangle. The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has defended its recent decision of cutting base price for 2G spectrum.

The telecom regulator said spectrum prices had been tested in the market twice, which showed the need of a reduction.

TRAI cut the base price for the 900 MHz band for the Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai circles by 79 per cent to Rs 650 crore per MHz, from previously recommended base price of Rs 3074.18 crore per MHz. For the 1800 MHz band, the recommended base price was slashed by 60 per cent.

Mumbai, Sep 11 - A benchmark index of Indian equities markets Wednesday was trading 163 points down on profit booking -- a day after the benchmark index closed over 700 points to touch its largest single-day gain in four years.

The 30-scrip S&P Sensex of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened higher at 19,999.77 points, was ruling at 19,833.14 at trading around 2.15 p. m., down 163.95 points or 0.82 percent from its previous close at 19,997.09 points.

Madrid, Sep 11 - FC Barcelona star Lionel Messi and his father will appear in court Sep 27 to answer charges of tax evasion. The change of date came after the postponement of a hearing, scheduled for next week.

Messi and his father face charges of filing incomplete tax returns for the years 2006-2009 and have already made a payment of over five million euros to the Spanish tax authorities Aug 14, reports Xinhua.
