On Thursday, the actress was returning from the Calvin Klein show at New York Fashion Week when a freelance photographer, Carl Wu, slammed into her, reports TMZ. com

As Wu got dangerously close to Nicole, he appeared to hit his brakes, but it didn't do the trick. He slammed into her and she went crashing to the ground, TMZ. com quoted witnesses as saying.

Another photographer, who was present there, said that the actress was furious.
