A new case of swine flu came to light on Wednesday in Hyderabad. With this, the total number of confirmed H1N1cases in Hyderabad has risen to 13 and 31 in the country.

According to reports, a 9-year-old boy who arrived from New Jersey transiting through London by a British Airways flight on June 14, has been tested positive for swine flu at the airport itself as the boy had flu like symptoms.

Later, the boy was shifted to the Government Chest Hospital at Erragadda. The throat swab of the boy, which was forwarded to the National Institute of Communicable Diseases in New Delhi, tested positive for swine flu on Tuesday.

La Paz  - Rufina Morales, a first cousin of Bolivian President Evo Morales, was murdered and mutilated in the central Bolivian city of Cochabamba, police said Wednesday.

The woman, 73, who had gone missing last week, was found dead by locals Tuesday in a ravine.

Police were working on the hypothesis that she had been attacked by robbers who then threw her body in the ravine, then dismembered by stray dogs. Only her head and her pelvis were found intact, while her heart and other internal organs were missing

New York  - Newly reorganized Chrysler Group LLC plans to begin production in the next two weeks at seven North American factories, the company announced Wednesday.

After emerging last week from a 42-day bankruptcy under the management of Italy's Fiat SpA, Chrysler will reopen plants assembling cars, pickup trucks, minivans and sport-utility vehicles in the states of Michigan, Missouri and Ohio and in Canada and Mexico, a spokeswoman told the Bloomberg financial news agency.

London  - On the eve of a EU summit expected to tackle the question of EU-wide financial oversight, Alistair Darling, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Wednesday emphasized his clear preference for national regulation.
