PETA goes potty over Obama''s fly-killing skills!Melbourne, June 18 : U. S. President Barack Obama has apparently left People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) unhappy by killing a fly during a televised interview, for the animal rights organisation is now sending him a device that allows users to trap a house fly and then release it outside.

"We support compassion even for the most curious, smallest and least sympathetic animals," the Daily Telegraph quoted PETA spokesman Bruce Friedrich as saying.

Following the discovery, nursery worker Cate, of St Austell, Cornwall, called out her boyfriend, Nigel Northey who hurried to the kitchen.

"I wondered if we had too many vegetables in the pan. Then I saw whiskers, legs, and a tail. It gave me a real fright," The Sun quoted her as saying.

The 37-year-old man picked up the rodent by its tail and took it back to the store from where they had bought the 1.49-pound packaged food.

The company has apologised and launched an inquiry with health officials.
