Berlin - Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini said on Friday that he does not expect the current protests in Iran to bring down the regime which has existed since the Islamic Revolution 30 years ago.

"During the campaign we followed the debate between the reformist candidate and President Ahmadinejad very closely," Frattini told German broadcaster Deutschlandfunk on Friday.

Washington, June 19 : As anticipation grows among Limp Bizkit fans for their new album, the band have revealed that their comeback LP will be "like stepping into a haunted house".

Hamburg - It is up to world motorsport supremo Max Mosley to avoid a split in Formula One racing in a bitter dispute with eight major teams, former world champion Niki Lauda and ex-team boss Eddie Jordan said on Friday.

"It is Max Mosley's turn now," Lauda told the German N-TV news channel.

The eight teams, including Ferrari and championship leaders Brawn GP, organized in their body FOTA, said Friday they will start forming a new series after no compromise could be reached with Mosley's FIA over a budget cap the federation planned for 2010.

Washington, June 19 : Billy Joel's ex-wife Christie Brinkley has broken her silence on the rocker's recent split with wife Katie Lee.

Johannesburg - Egyptian players returned from their 1-0 victory over Italy at the Confederations Cup in Johannesburg on Thursday to find cash had been stolen from their hotel rooms.

Striker Mohamed Zidan said Friday several players were victims of the thief or thieves. Officials with the team have reported the thefts to police.

It was not immediately clear how much money had been stolen but the amount is believed to be the equivalent of several thousand US dollars.

Washington, June 19 : Sandra Bullock is glad that her ''''jiggling'''' butt has been edited out from a nude scene in new movie, `The Proposal'.

The actress was bothered about unflattering areas of her body being revealed in a scene where her co-star Ryan Reynolds smacks her bare back.

"I was really worried about my butt jiggling when contact was made. Luckily, the director was a fellow female and knew just how to cut the scene before the ripple effect happened. I am very grateful," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

The beauty has never been apprehensive of a bold scene- while filming the first nude scene in her career a strategically placed cover-up had fallen away, but that did not embarrass her.
