Presently several researches on artificial intelligence are in progress across the world. Recently the University of Cambridge announced that it will be setting up a £10million New Interdisciplinary Research Centre to explore the challenges and opportunities to humanity.

According to a statement by the University, human-intelligence is familiar in biological welfare. Science and technology are now moving towards a possibly similar future where computers can create similar intelligence.

So far, no one is aware of when human-level artificial intelligence (AI) will be created. But several scientists hope that the time is no far when it will occur and this might happen before the end of this century, they say.

Samsung Electronics Co. has decided to pay $548 million to Apple Inc. this month in court-ordered damages. The agreement has marked that the first meaningful exchange of money from a roughly 5- year-long patent quarrel between the smartphone companies.

The findings of a new study revealed that kids and teens battling attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and are taking prescription medicines to treat the mental health problem are at high risk of being bullied compared to their peers.

According to UPI, using mice that were genetically altered to lack a distinct nerve channel that enables people and animals to feel pain researchers developed a two-drug method of treatment.

Nerve cells use several channels to communicate with the nervous system some previously conducted studies have shown that the sodium channel Nav1.7 is important factor for signaling pain, and people who are born with a non-functioning Nav1.7 do not feel pain.

Hit by E. coli Outbreak, Chipotle Mexican Grill’s Shares Drop 8%

Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc on Friday said in a statement that its sales have been largely impacted due to E. coli outbreak that sickened dozens of people across the United States. Stock of the company dropped 8% in after-hour trading on Friday.

According to the company, its shares dropped nearly 8% to $518 in extended trading after the popular burrito chain warned that its sales might drop eight to 11% for the fourth quarter from a year earlier.
