The research speculates the possibility of the existence of an isolated planet that orbits the sun on an elongated path, with the planet likely to be thousands of times bigger than Pluto. Though this is not the first time that the possibility of another planet has been brought up, his study has increased the standards of the evidence that a large ’Planet X’ does exist somewhere in a distant location of the solar system.

Westmoreland County’s Norwin School District is going to start stocking the anti-opioid drug Naloxone, also called Narcan, in its school nurses’ offices in the beginning of this year. According to Superintendent William Kerr, training for coaches, nurses, and administrators is planned for February.

Researchers reported that offering water in school cafeterias has been apparently promoting weight loss with kids preferring it over milk and other drinks.

In schools providing so-called water jets, with chill and oxygenated water, the chances of boys being overweight were 0.9% less in comparison to boys in schools without water jets. The New York University researchers found that in the case of girls, water jets were associated with a 0.6% reduced chances of overweight.

Lead researcher Brian Elbel, an associate professor of population health and health policy at NYU School of Medicine in New York City said, “This is a small effect, but we are looking for anything that might be working for childhood obesity, and this is a low-cost intervention”.

A large study in Spain suggested that when mothers consume three sizeable servings of fish every week during pregnancy it could be beneficial for children’s brains for upcoming years.

For the study, researchers tracked about 2,000 mother-child pairs from the first trimester of pregnancy till the fifth birthday of the child and discovered improved brain function in the children whose mothers consumed the most fish while pregnant, in comparison to children of mothers who consumed the least.

In fact when women averaged 21 ounces or 600 grams of fish every week during pregnancy, there was no indication that mercury or other pollutants linked to fish had any negative effect to balance the apparent benefits.

The study has revealed that bradycardia by itself is not responsible for death or cardiovascular problems. But, when combined with the intake of medication that lowers the heart rate, these risks can persist.

"We believe doctors should look carefully at people who have really slow heart rates when they're on these medications and consider the possibility that the dose needs adjustment or that other diseases that aren't well controlled need to be addressed," said Dr Alain Bertoni of Wake Forest School of Medicine, Winston-Salem.
