Mumbai, Jan 12 - What began with fictional dramas has now turned into an experimental journey for Imagine TV, with out-of-the-box reality shows like the "Swayamvar" series and "Raaz-Pichhle Janam Ka" grabbing eyeballs.

"The amount of reality on our channel has been higher. Our reality shows have gone on to become more successful," Imagine TV senior marketing and communications director Nikhil Madhok told IANS.

New Delhi, Jan 12 - Noticed the surfeit of Bollywood singers and choreographers on TV? Not only are music and dance reality shows giving them a good source of income but many say the recognition they get from the small screen is a big add-on.

Singers like Shaan and Sonu Nigam ruled the small screen for years with the music show "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa".

His debut "Fired", a Rahul Bose-starrer thriller, might not have seen the light of the day yet but that has not deterred director Sajit Warrier from using his creative prowess on a second project on similar lines.

"I'm working on another low-budget psychological thriller. It is again a controversial subject with some horror in it. It is based on a real incident and we'll merge it with real footage. We haven't decided the title yet and it'll completely be with newcomers," Warrier told IANS.

His directorial debut "Hide & Seek" might have been a horror outing about friends trapped in a house but Shawn Arranha has now moved on to a romcom.

"I am writing a romcom and I'm in talks with actors and producers. Negotiations are going on. It will be a totally different version of romcom and not the usual style," Arranha told IANS.
