New Delhi, Dec 11: Newly elected Congress MLAs from Rajasthan will meet here today to elect their new leader.

According to party sources, all 96 Congress Legislature Party (CLP) members are meeting here. Former Chief Minister and AICC General Secretary Ashok Gehlot has emerged as the front-runner for the post of Chief Minister.

The meeting will be attended by three central observers - AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh, Madhusudan Mistry and Chaudhary Virender Singh.

On Wednesday, Sheila Dikshit was elected as the leader of CLP in New Delhi, Dikshit, leading the party to a third consecutive victory in the national capital, was elected at a meeting of all the newly elected 42 party MLAs. (ANI)
