Thai shares drop 2.73 per cent on global worries
Bangkok- Thai shares dropped 2.73 per cent in value Wednesday on ongoing worries about the global economy, analysts said.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand index ended at 408.51, down 11.46 points, on turnover of 8.4 billion baht (250 million dollars).
"Investors are still worried about the global economy and signs of recession everywhere," said Chaiyudh Jiwankul, an analyst at Atkinson Securities. (dpa)
