Rajshri Productions is coming up with its new venture to be released on November 7, ‘EK VIVAAH...AISA BHI’. The movie stars the glam doll, Isha Koppikar as a North Indian girl and Sonu Sood as her co-star.

Isha, who is ready to endorse a character unlike her contemporary image, is sure to turn the tables around for people who think the ‘item girl’ can’t act. The story revolves around two characters. Isha plays the role of ‘Chandni, a simple girl, who aspires to be a successful singer and Sonu who is also a singer, a lover of Chandni who waits for twelve years for her, before they can get united.

It’s a romantic tale of two lovers. While the theme sounded similar to Amitabh starrer ‘Abhimaan’, Sonu defied any likelihood of similarity among the two “Well Abhimaan was about conflict of egos between the couple but here the subject is entirely different. It is about the journey of two singers, one who is lucky and the other who does not get success. It is about commitment and relationship.”

While Isha hopes to change her image through this venture Sonu has an altogether different reason to rejoice. He says that his mother always wanted to see him doing an out and out romantic film but she expired before he signed Ek Vivaah. It was on her Chautha that Sonu received this offer, perhaps this may be an indication that her wish was finally fulfilled, he asserts.
